The Fire Feather is dropped by Red Devil foes in the Underworld with a 1.33% chance in Classic mode and 2.67% in Expert mode. Defeating these dangerous demons requires dodging their damaging trident projectiles while navigating subterranean lava caverns and ruined obsidian towers across the bottom of the map.

Providing 160 ticks of flight duration, 162 ft of vertical climb, and 38 mph horizontal speed, Flame Wings supply dependable mid-Hardmode agility. Their generous flight stats assist players in outmaneuvering Plantera tentacles and hovering over lava lakes during Underworld mining and boss preparation. Equipping them alongside fire-resistant gear creates a visually striking and functional loadout for cavern expeditions and nighttime boss skirmishes, granting reliable midair repositioning.
