Post-Plantera Dungeon excavation and skeletal feathers
Crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil using 1 Bone Feather and 20 Soul of Flight. Bone Feathers drop from post-Plantera Dungeon skeletons: Blue Armored Bones, Hell Armored Bones, and Rusty Armored Bones with a 0.22% chance in Classic mode and 0.44% in Expert mode. Gathering one requires enduring challenging subterranean dungeon battles against hostile casters and armored guards.
High-tier flight clearance and combat evasion
Delivering 170 ticks of flight duration, 182 ft of vertical lift, and 38 mph horizontal speed, Bone Wings match Spectre Wings and Beetle Wings in flight stats. This flight duration gives players ample clearance to evade Golem fist attacks, cross large dungeon caverns, and navigate Pumpkin Moon battlefields safely. Their skeletal appearance matches necro and bone armor sets for dedicated aesthetic coordination, providing both utility and style during extended subterranean expeditions.
Trivia
- All three armored skeleton types in the post-Plantera Dungeon have a chance to yield Bone Feathers.
- Bone Wings share the exact flight statistics of Beetle Wings and Mothron Wings.
