When holding down the attack button, the weapon spools up gradually from a slow cadence before ramping into a dense barrage of laser bolts. Each bolt inflicts 60 base magic damage and 2 knockback while consuming 6 mana per shot during sustained firing.

Mana upkeep and rapid-fire magic alternatives

At full spin, the weapon consumes mana rapidly, making accessories like the Mana Flower or Mana Cloak essential for continuous output. While the Razorpine offers pinpoint single-target precision immediately without spin-up delay, the Laser Machinegun covers a wider cone that excels against clusters of enemies. Players should pre-fire the weapon for a brief moment before engaging agile bosses to reach peak fire rate. The Mythical modifier is optimal for maximizing damage, critical strike chance, and knockback.
