Crafted at a Tinkerer's Workshop by combining Water Walking Boots with an Obsidian Skull, these boots aid subterranean navigation and hazard traversal in lava-rich environments. They allow the wearer to walk across the surface of water and honey without sinking into the depths. They also grant immunity to burning block damage from Meteorite and Hellstone tiles during deep mining operations, preventing fire damage when stepping on raw ore.
Underworld exploration and Lava Waders progression
These boots assist players constructing Underworld bridge platforms by preventing burns from exposed Hellstone ore. They also prevent honey immersion during Queen Bee battles, maintaining full running momentum across sticky hive floors. They serve as a vital stepping stone toward Lava Waders and Terraspark Boots. Warding adds 4 defense for hazardous mining expeditions, while Menacing boosts overall outgoing damage by 4% across all weapon types.
Trivia
Pressing the Down arrow key allows the wearer to submerge through the liquid surface at will.
While immune to burning blocks, the boots do not grant lava immersion immunity without further upgrades.
