Rich Mahogany Breastplate

Jungle timber carpentry and starter canopy chestplate

Formed at a basic Work Bench using 30 Rich Mahogany blocks, the Rich Mahogany Breastplate grants 1 defense to the torso. Equipping this reddish tunic alongside a Rich Mahogany Helmet and Rich Mahogany Greaves reaches 3 base defense, triggering an extra set bonus of +1 defense for an aggregate of 4 defense.

Jungle canopy harvesting versus safer woodland alternatives

Delivering 1 defense on its own, this breastplate performs identically to standard Wood Breastplate and Boreal Wood Breastplate. However, harvesting Rich Mahogany exposes adventurers to aggressive jungle hazards such as Snatchers and Jungle Bats. Skilled players who skim the upper jungle treetops can chop down sprawling mahogany trunks quickly, establishing functional armor before retreating back to safety.

Trivia

• Rich Mahogany trees grow towering trunks throughout both surface and underground Jungle regions.
• Provides identical protection to basic forest wood armor despite the higher danger of the Jungle.
