Discovered inside locked Shadow Chest containers throughout the Underworld, or obtained by opening Obsidian Crate and Hellstone Crate catches, the Treasure Magnet expands item grab distance by approximately 9.5 tiles. This expanded pickup radius pulls mined ores, monster drops, dropped blocks, and coins directly toward the player, preventing loose resources from tumbling into lava pools or inaccessible chasms.
Hand of Creation crafting and building convenience
At a Tinkerer's Workshop, the Treasure Magnet combines with an Architect Gizmo Pack, Ancient Chisel, and Step Stool to assemble the Hand Of Creation. This consolidated construction accessory retains the magnetic grab radius alongside placement speed and tile reach bonuses. Mining large underground shafts or harvesting mob farms becomes much faster, as dropped treasures gravitate toward the player automatically without requiring manual collection passes.
