| Stardust Cell Staff | 18 × Stardust Fragment | Ancient Manipulator |
Independent cellular lasers and parasitic division
Stardust Cell Staff is forged at an Ancient Manipulator using eighteen Stardust Fragments. It summons hovering Stardust Cells that fly alongside the summoner to attack hostile creatures. Each cell fires ranged laser bolts at targets from a distance, teleporting to keep pace with rapid movement. Upon striking an enemy, cells attach a miniature sub-cell that continuously damages the victim over time. When an infected enemy takes damage, nearby cells can fire additional projectiles that cause further sub-cells to spawn.
Distributed minion tactics versus dragon focus
Summoners choose between Stardust Cell Staff and Stardust Dragon Staff for endgame minion slots. While the Stardust Dragon concentrates damage onto one large target, Stardust Cells distribute their fire across multiple hostiles, making them superior for chaotic invasion events and multi-segment battles. Cells do not trigger enemy invulnerability frames that can interfere with whip tags from Constellation. Reforging to the Ruthless prefix provides the highest damage bonus for minion summons.
Trivia
- Infected enemies can carry multiple attached sub-cells that pulse damage until the target dies.
- Stardust Cells automatically teleport directly to the player's position if they fall too far behind.
