| Tin Greaves | 16 × Tin Bar | Iron Anvil |
Anvil smithing and lower body defense
Manufactured at an Iron Anvil or Lead Anvil with 16 Tin Bar ingots, Tin Greaves grant 1 defense to the leg slot. Worn together with a Tin Helmet and Tin Chainmail, these leggings enable the +2 defense set bonus. Across all three equipped items, the entire set reaches 7 total defense, giving new characters solid stability during early surface journeys.
Ore budgeting and early mobility slot options
At 16 bars, crafting Tin Greaves demands 48 tin ore. While the leggings grant the same individual 1 defense as Copper Greaves and Wood Greaves, completing the set remains necessary to unlock the +2 bonus. Players seeking fast protection without smelting often rely on desert cactus leggings until sufficient tin is stockpiled for the complete set, keeping ore available for anvils and bows.
Trivia
- The full Tin armor set grants 7 total defense, beating Copper armor by one point.
- Vendors will purchase these leggings for 3 silver.
