Snapping carnivorous vines rooting through jungle mud

Angry Trappers are formidable carnivorous flora rooted inside the Hardmode Underground Jungle. Anchored to mud or jungle grass tiles, they boast 300 health and 30 defense. An Angry Trapper attacks by extending a long stem through solid blocks, lunging its razor-toothed maw toward intruders to inflict 100 contact damage (200 in Expert and 300 in Master).

Hunting through dense thickets for rapid-fire uzis

Because its snapping stem can phase through walls without hindrance, keeping distance on wooden platforms while employing broad swinging swords or explosive ammo is recommended. Defeating an Angry Trapper provides a 1% chance to secure the Uzi, a powerful early Hardmode ranged weapon that converts regular musket balls into high-velocity bullets, alongside Coffee at 3.33% and the Angry Trapper Kite at 4%.

Trivia

  • The vine stem of an Angry Trapper cannot be harmed directly; only hits to its snapping head deal damage.
