The Cool Slime is a stylish town slime sporting a backwards baseball cap and dark shades. Unlike hostile slimes that attack on sight, this creature is an affectionate town pet dedicated to hanging out and soaking up good vibes.
To recruit the Cool Slime, players must throw or witness a village Party. Parties have a small random chance to begin naturally at dawn, causing town residents to put on party hats while balloons and confetti drift across the screen. If valid housing is available, the Cool Slime will stroll into town and claim an unoccupied room or share a bedroom with another resident.
Urban dwelling habits and neighborhood morale
Once moved in, the Cool Slime has 250 life and 15 defense. While it cannot attack invading monsters, it hops around the village, interacting with other townspeople and bringing lively energy to the community. Approaching it displays a pet prompt; petting it triggers an amused bounce and heart particles.
Like all eight town slimes, it counts toward the municipal population count required to summon the Princess. It also boosts local village atmosphere, making it a welcome companion in any bustling community hub.
Unlocking festive companions on demand
Players who do not want to wait around for a spontaneous dawn celebration can force the Cool Slime to appear immediately. Purchasing a Party Center from the Party Girl allows players to trigger a party on demand by right-clicking the furniture item.
Once activated, confetti flies and town hats appear, fulfilling the arrival conditions for the Cool Slime instantly. Bringing this laid-back pet to town contributes toward completing The Great Slime Mitosis achievement, which celebrates collecting all eight unique town slimes across the world.
