Gathering the full roster of townsfolk
The Princess arrives as the crowning resident of a prosperous world, demanding that every other standard town NPC (excluding Santa Claus, town pets, and town slimes) already has valid housing. Only when the full community is assembled will she grace the world with her royal presence, serving as a late-game milestone reward for a complete settlement.
When threats approach the village, she wields the Resonance Scepter to blast foes with blossoming bursts of pink petal energy that pierce multiple targets. If slain in combat, she drops the Resonance Scepter at a 12.5% rate. Her royal guard protects her with 250 health and 15 defense, causing 10 base contact damage against hostile monsters.
Universal affection and crowd mitigation
Her royal presence fundamentally alters settlement dynamics. Unlike ordinary villagers, she has no biome preferences and loves all nearby neighbors, granting a substantial happiness boost to up to three residents within her immediate perimeter. Crucially, she completely removes overcrowding penalties for anyone living near her, allowing dense central hubs without driving up vendor prices.
Every single town NPC in the game either loves or likes living near the Princess, making her the perfect anchor for multi-villager settlements across any biome. Placing her in large multi-room town halls guarantees optimal vendor prices and stabilizes community happiness.
Resonance bursts and royal regalia
Her boutique caters to regal aesthetics, stocking the Royal Dress, Prince Uniform, Royal Scepter vanity weapon, Glass Slipper, and potted decorative miniature trees such as the Potted Forest Cedar and Potted Hallow Palm. She also offers special decorative paintings and the Journey's End Music Box, celebrating the completion of a flourishing world and bringing cheerful melodies to royal quarters.
Royal sanctuary and pylon placement
Because she holds no regional biases, the Princess functions as a universal pylon catalyst in any environment. Placing her in remote outposts alongside solitary characters like the Truffle or Steampunker satisfies the two-resident requirement for teleporters while ensuring both villagers enjoy peak happiness bonuses and discounted prices.
Trivia
- The Princess loves all surrounding neighbors and has no biome dislikes, mitigating overcrowding penalties in settlements.
- She attacks approaching hostiles using the Resonance Scepter, which fires piercing pink petals.
