Stealth assassins of the solar eclipse
Psychos are terrifying stealth killers that prowl the surface during the post-Plantera Solar Eclipse. Standing perfectly still, they enter an invisible cloaked state, blending into the background until an unsuspecting player walks past. They carry 550 health and 40 defense, waiting patiently for the ideal moment to strike.
Surviving stealth ambushes and claiming the psycho knife
Breaking stealth allows the Psycho to deal 70 contact damage in Classic and 140 in Expert, accompanied by formidable burst potential. Eliminating this masked slasher rewards players with the Psycho Knife at a 2.5% rate, granting players the same stealth-cloaking ability to boost melee damage and critical strike chance.
Trivia
- Psychos become completely invisible when standing still, though Hunter Potions can still outline them.
- The Psycho Knife dropped by this foe allows players to enter stealth mode to increase melee damage.
