Rain-loving floaters of surface meadows
Umbrella Slimes are whimsical gelatinous creatures that appear exclusively on the surface world during Rain. Gripping small handheld umbrellas, they leap high into the air and drift down gracefully, using their umbrellas as makeshift parachutes. They possess 35 health and 5 defense, gliding across wet hillsides.
Hunting floating slimes and securing umbrella hats
Dealing 10 contact damage in Classic and 20 in Expert, Umbrella Slimes are gentle threats that provide valuable surface resources during stormy weather. Slaying them awards Gel at a 97.8% rate in amounts of 2–6, along with the decorative Umbrella Hat at a 2.22% rate, allowing players to wear an umbrella on their head for novelty fashion.
Trivia
- Umbrella Slimes descend much slower than regular slimes due to their umbrella paragliding physics.
- They only spawn while rain weather is actively falling on the surface layer.
