Recovering baked pastries during hallowed cavern expeditions
Obtained as a rare 0.67% drop from Chaos Elementals, Illuminant Bats, and Illuminant Slimes in the Underground Hallow, Apple Pie grants the Exquisitely Stuffed buff for 16 minutes. Eating it increases defense by 4, critical strike chance by 4%, and damage by 10% across all combat classes.
Passive food acquisition while farming rare underground drops
Because players routinely spend hours battling underground hallow mobs in search of a Rod of Discord, Apple Pies accumulate naturally in inventory bags. The 16-minute buff provides dependable stat improvements for hardmode boss arenas without spending ingredients at a cooking pot or chasing elusive critters.
