 Architect Gizmo Pack | 1 × Brick Layer, 1 × Extendo Grip, 1 × Paint Sprayer, 1 × Portable Cement Mixer | Tinkerer's Workshop |
Merchant purchase and expanded tool reaching distance
Offered randomly by the Traveling Merchant for 10 gold during his town visits. Wearing the Extendo Grip extends tile placement distance and tool interaction reach by 3 tiles in all directions. This expanded reach lets players mine distant ore veins, harvest trees across chasms, and place torches into shadowy caverns without laying temporary scaffolding blocks or exposing themselves to environmental hazards. The additional reach also facilitates building high ceiling barriers and digging drainage shafts while standing comfortably clear of falling sand or rolling boulders.
Stacking reach bonuses and builder upgrades
The 3-tile reach bonus stacks alongside reach extensions provided by the Toolbelt and Toolbox accessories, creating substantial distance for placement. At a Tinkerer's Workshop, the grip unites with the Brick Layer, Paint Sprayer, and Portable Cement Mixer into the compact Architect Gizmo Pack. That consolidated pack later merges with ancient chisel tools to produce the Hand of Creation.
Trivia
- The 3-tile extension applies to mining picks, axes, hammers, and block placement alike.
