Toolbelt

Town merchant trade and block reach extension

Purchased from the town Merchant for 10 gold once he takes up residence in valid housing. Equipping the Toolbelt increases block, furniture, and object placement reach by 1 tile in every direction. This additional tile of placement distance lets builders position blocks, platforms, and torches across wider gaps without having to step into hazard zones or build temporary scaffolding along precarious precipices. The extra block placement distance allows builders to seal hostile entry points from safety while standing behind protective barricades during monster blood moons.

Hand of creation synthesis and reach stacking

The 1-tile reach bonus stacks with reach extensions provided by the Toolbox and the Extendo Grip. Combining reach trinkets ensures comfortable placement distance across wide construction zones without requiring constant player repositioning. At a Tinkerer's Workshop, the toolbelt combines alongside the Toolbox, Architect Gizmo Pack, and ancient mining tools to forge the Hand of Creation, uniting all building reach and placement enhancements into one convenient equipment slot for serious terraformers.

Trivia
