Crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil using 18 Shroomite Bar and 20 Soul of Flight. Smelting Shroomite Bars requires Chlorophyte and Glowing Mushrooms processed at an Autohammer. The Hoverboard features a dedicated horizontal hover mechanic activated by holding Down while pressing Jump, propelling the character laterally at 51 mph across open sky arenas and boss runways.

Tactical positioning and projectile evasion

With 170 ticks of flight duration, 182 ft of vertical ascent, and 10 horizontal hover velocity, the Hoverboard excels at rapid arena repositioning. Ranged characters wearing Shroomite Armor can maintain stealth bonuses while gliding flat across skybridges to outrun Moon Lord phantasmal eyes and Martian death rays. Toggling hover on and off allows sharp angular flight paths during intense aerial combat, providing a versatile alternative to standard wing flapping while firing rockets or repeaters.
