Lilith's Necklace is dropped by Wolf enemies in the Snow biome during Hardmode, with a one in thirty drop rate in Classic mode and one in twenty-five in Expert mode. Players can also obtain it right from character creation by naming their character "Wolfpet", which places the necklace directly into the starting inventory. Equipping and activating the pendant transforms the player into a swift lupine form rather than saddling an external mount.

Agile wolf sprinting and leap heights

In wolf form, the player sprints across open terrain at forty-nine miles per hour with responsive acceleration and elevated jump height. The mount absorbs 90% of incoming fall damage, allowing fearless leaps across rugged tundra hills and cavern ravines. Unlike many transformation items, the wolf allows the player to swing weapons, fire guns, and cast spells without breaking the form. Its natural agility makes it an adaptable land mount for farming outdoor events and traversing sprawling surface biomes.
