The Jack 'O Lantern Launcher is a reward dropped by Pumpking during the Pumpkin Moon event. The weapon fires specialized Explosive Jack 'O Lantern ammunition, which can be bought from the Arms Dealer while the launcher is held in inventory. Fired pumpkins bounce along solid blocks before detonating on contact with enemies, dealing 85 ranged damage with 5 knockback and an innate 10% critical strike rate.

Grenade launcher comparisons and ballistic arc handling

In comparison to the Grenade Launcher, this launcher fires faster projectiles that roll smoothly along terrain, making it ideal for clearing subterranean tunnels and flat arena surfaces. Because the rolling pumpkins bounce over short obstacles, players can bombard approaching monsters from behind barricades safely. When paired with high-ground platforms, the falling pumpkins gain additional momentum on slopes. The Unreal modifier provides the best boost to damage, projectile velocity, and critical strike chance.
