The Raven Staff is dropped by Pumpking during the Pumpkin Moon event. Activating the staff summons spectral ravens that circle the summoner and relentlessly dive toward hostile targets. Each raven deals 55 summon damage and 3 knockback per peck. Unlike walking summons, ravens possess unrestricted flight and pursue airborne bosses without getting hindered by uneven terrain or pit obstacles, maintaining continuous pressure on targets.

Summoner loadout synergy and minion comparisons

Compared to the Deadly Sphere Staff, ravens maintain tighter turning radiuses when harassing fast-moving aerial targets like Duke Fishron. Pairing ravens with whips such as Dark Harvest enables their rapid pecks to trigger jumping dark energy sparks repeatedly across grouped foes. Their high flight speed ensures they stay close to the player even during rapid wing flight across large arenas. The Ruthless modifier provides the highest flat damage increase per strike, making it the preferred prefix for summoners.
