Daytime forest glades and net harvesting
Fluttering over grassy Forest plains between 4:30 AM and 7:30 PM on clear days, this butterfly stands out through its brilliant blue wing coloration. Any standard Bug Net easily scoops it up as it glides near wild flowers and sunflowers. Combining one with a glass Bottle creates a Ulysses Butterfly Jar, which provides animated tabletop decoration for NPC houses and town rooms.
Mid-tier freshwater bait and economic trade
With 20% bait power, this insect serves as dependable bait for early freshwater ponds and coastal ocean fishing expeditions. It outperforms low-tier monarch and sulfur butterflies, providing better bite frequency without needing star crafting or composting setups. Anglers short on funds can liquidate captured specimens for 20 silver per unit, turning casual daytime walks into steady silver coin revenue.
Trivia
- Despawns naturally when dusk falls at 7:30 PM across surface biomes.
