Temperate flutter and collection method
The Red Admiral Butterfly drifts above purity grass across the surface Forest during daytime. It flutters gently during daylight hours between 4:30 AM and 7:30 PM, where swinging a standard Bug Net, Golden Bug Net, or Lavaproof Bug Net gathers it into the backpack. It can be placed inside an empty Bottle to construct a Red Admiral Butterfly Jar for housing decoration and ambient tabletop illumination.
Angling efficiency and market value
Delivering 30% bait power, this creature matches the efficiency of Journeyman Bait without requiring completed quests from the Angler. It proves far more durable than the Sulfur Butterfly at 10% bait or the Zebra Swallowtail at 15% bait, significantly reducing bait consumption when angling in freshwater or oceans. Surplus catches sell for 40 silver apiece to vendors, generating pocket money while stocking up on dependable tackle.
Trivia
- Butterfly spawn rates increase during days with low wind and high surface critter caps.
- Display jars preserve the animated fluttering cycle of the captured insect.
