The Valkyrie Yoyo is obtained by opening Hardmode boss Treasure Bags in Expert or Master Mode, generating as a component of Lazure's developer set. It features unlimited hang time in the air, never retracting to the wielder unless the attack button is released. A line reach of 23 tiles lets fighters strike dangerous subterranean enemies from beyond their physical striking radius while emitting a soft purple particle glow.
Dual-string accessories and mid-Hardmode positioning
Hitting for 70 base melee damage alongside 4.5 knockback, its combat profile mirrors Red's Throw. Wearing the Yoyo Bag accessory enhances damage output by summoning an auxiliary clone yoyo and two flying counterweights around the primary cord. Since speed modifiers cannot alter yoyo rotation rates, Godly and Demonic represent the best available reforges. It serves as an effective intermediate weapon before acquiring post-Plantera options like Kraken.
