Crimson chest retrieval and life-draining dagger spreads
Vampire Knives are located within the Dungeon's locked Crimson Chest, which unlocks with a Crimson Key following the defeat of Plantera. Using the weapon tosses a wide fan of four to eight crimson daggers per toss. These flying blades spread across the screen and siphon vitality upon striking hostile targets, restoring life to the wielder equal to 7.5% of the damage inflicted.
Health regeneration utility and boss encounter tactics
Each thrown blade deals 29 base melee damage with a blazing 16 use time. While raw burst damage lags behind pure heavy hitters like the Terra Blade, its continuous healing provides reliable sustain during protracted boss battles and invasion events. Godly or Demonic serves as the top reforge choice. Note that the weapon's life recovery is cancelled if afflicted by the Moon Bite debuff during the battle against the Moon Lord.
