Unicycling demolitionists of the hardmode blood moon
The Clown is an eccentric jester who rides a unicycle across the surface during Hardmode Blood Moons. Carrying 800 life and 25 defense, he balances with high agility while hurling explosive Happy Bombs, dealing 60 contact damage in Classic, 120 in Expert, and 180 in Master. His Happy Bombs roll across ground terrain before detonating with heavy kinetic blast damage.
Happy bombs and the coveted bananarang
While Happy Bombs no longer destroy player-built blocks in modern updates, their high blast damage can easily obliterate unarmored defenders. Staying above him on wooden platforms avoids rolling explosives while firing downward. Slaying Clowns offers a 10% chance to claim the Bananarang, a stackable thrown melee weapon, alongside the Bloody Tear at 10% and the Trifold Map at 1%.
