The tuxedo-clad aristocrat of the blood moon
The Groom is a distinguished zombie variant that appears exclusively during the Blood Moon, dressed in a formal wedding tuxedo and silk top hat. Stalking across dark fields in search of his missing bride, he commands 200 health and 8 defense, advancing with greater durability than ordinary undead.
Repelling wedding crashes and obtaining bloody tears
Delivering 14 contact damage in Classic and 28 in Expert, The Groom attempts to batter down shelter doorways alongside zombie hordes. Vanquishing him yields the dashing Top Hat vanity item at a 100% rate, along with the Bloody Tear at a 20% rate, allowing players to summon a Blood Moon at will.
Trivia
- The Groom is accompanied by The Bride, his female counterpart who also spawns during Blood Moons.
- Using the Bloody Tear dropped by The Groom allows players to trigger Blood Moons on command.
