Drops
Servant of Cthulhu drops nothing in the game's drop rules.
Spawning ocular minions of the eye of cthulhu
Servants of Cthulhu are miniature ocular entities spawned from the central iris of the Eye of Cthulhu during the first phase of the nocturnal boss fight. Entering the sky with just 8 life and 0 defense, they fly directly toward the player in straight dashes. Their glancing contact inflicts 12 base damage, disrupting the player’s movement and aim.
Replenishing mana and life through minion harvesting
Despite being an aerial nuisance, Servants of Cthulhu are a valuable resource during the early boss encounter. Slaying them frequently yields healing hearts and mana stars, allowing spellcasters and wounded warriors to sustain their offense without relying solely on potion cooldowns. Broad-swinging melee swords, shurikens, or piercing arrows eliminate multiple servants in a single motion. In Master mode, their health reaches 15 life with 36 damage.
Trivia
- Servants of Cthulhu drop healing hearts and mana stars upon defeat, sustaining players during the fight.
- They are expelled in bursts directly from the pupil of the Eye of Cthulhu during phase one.
