Drops
Slimer drops nothing in the game's drop rules.
Winged corruption oozes gliding through hardmode skies
The Slimer is a winged gelatinous anomaly that infests both surface and underground Corruption biomes in Hardmode. Equipped with leathery bat wings, it takes flight with 60 life and 20 defense, gliding smoothly through subterranean chasms toward players. Its airborne contact deals 45 base damage, bypassing ground pitfall traps designed for crawling slimes.
Severing leathery wings to ground corrupt oozes
Slaying a Slimer or dealing sufficient damage strips the creature of its wings, causing it to plummet to the ground below. Once grounded, it loses its flight mobility and functions as an ordinary Corrupt Slime. Long-range firearms or high-arcing bows easily clip its wings at safe distances. In Master mode, its resilience expands to 180 life while its strikes deliver 135 damage.
Trivia
- A Slimer loses its wings upon taking enough damage, dropping to the floor to behave like a standard Corrupt Slime.
- They inhabit both the surface chasms and underground caverns of the Corruption in Hardmode.
