Purchased for 5 gold from the Skeleton Merchant while exploring subterranean caverns during Full Moon or New Moon phases. When equipped in an active accessory slot, striking an enemy with a yoyo launches an orbiting blue counterweight projectile outward. This projectile matches the primary yoyo weapon in damage and knockback, colliding with nearby foes to keep monsters at bay. Placing the item into a vanity slot recolors active counterweight projectiles to azure blue.

Melee spacing and strung yoyo assembly

Melee warriors utilize this secondary impact to defend against swarming bats and slimes that slip past the spinning yoyo head in dark tunnels. Combining this item with any color string at a Tinkerer's Workshop creates a Strung Counterweight. That upgraded accessory subsequently combines with a Yoyo Glove to produce the Yoyo Bag, deploying dual yoyos and dual counterweights simultaneously in battle.
