Brain Scrambler

Martian invasion loot and Scutlix gunners

The Brain Scrambler drops from Scutlix Gunners during the Martian Madness event with a one in thirty drop probability. Triggering the Martian Madness invasion requires allowing a Martian Probe in the outer edges of the world to detect the player and escape into orbit. Once the event begins, Scutlix Gunners arrive mounted atop extraterrestrial beasts. Defeating the rider provides a chance to claim this peculiar device and take command of the alien steed yourself.

Auto-targeting laser barrage and high leaps

Summoning the Scutlix mount grants high mobility with a running speed of forty-one miles per hour, tall leaps, and full immunity to all fall damage. Its standout combat feature is an integrated laser system: the Scutlix automatically fires twin laser beams from its eyes at hostile targets near the cursor, dealing base piercing damage without expending player mana or ammunition. This automated secondary fire supplements your primary weapon loadout during hectic events like the Frost Moon or Pumpkin Moon.

Trivia

• The Scutlix mount eyes independently track targets and swivel toward enemies when preparing to fire laser beams.
• Unlike most offensive mounts, the Scutlix allows players to fire their own weapons continuously while its lasers discharge.
