Endgame metal synthesis and crafting requirements
The Drill Containment Unit is an endgame excavation mount crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil. Forging it requires forty bars each of Luminite, Chlorophyte, Shroomite, Spectre, Hellstone, and Meteorite. This demanding recipe combines metals gathered across every stage of world progression, from Pre-Hardmode meteor crash sites and underworld hellstone deposits up to the final cosmic bars left by the Moon Lord.

Multidirectional laser beams and mass excavation
Boarding the Drill Containment Unit grants infinite hovering flight with rapid omnidirectional travel. Holding the primary attack button directs eight laser drill beams toward the cursor, rapidly disintegrating blocks across a wide radius. Right-clicking utilizes the beams to strip background walls with equal speed. While mounted, the player cannot use standard weapons, tools, or items, dedicating the vehicle to large-scale terraforming, digging straight hellevators, and hollowing out large subterranean boss arenas in minutes.
