Ocean boss flail and tracking bubble stream
Flairon is obtained by defeating Duke Fishron at the Ocean biome. As the flail head travels through the air and impacts enemies, it continuously releases a stream of homing bubble projectiles. These bubbles track down hostile targets, pop on contact, and inflict full base damage without consuming ammunition or mana. Right-clicking the weapon allows players to toggle it into its Flairoon counterpart.
Flairoon mode swap and melee emblem pairing
While Flairon uses the modern flail mechanic of spinning and deploying into stationary positions, toggling to Flairoon restores classic launched behavior. The weapon outpaces earlier flails like the Flower Pow in sustained single-target pressure because its homing bubbles seek agile targets during evasive maneuvering. Wearing Beetle Scale Mail alongside Fire Gauntlet and Mechanical Glove maximizes bubble damage output. The best modifier is Godly.
Trivia
- Each launched bubble homes in on enemies and deals damage identical to the flail head.
- Players can right-click the item to toggle between Flairon and its counterpart Flairoon.
