The generated shadow slashes persist across consecutive swings, creating a defensive barrier of dark strikes. These ethereal slashes linger briefly in the air, striking encroaching targets multiple times across a tight melee arc.

Agile corruption melee and night edge crafting

Boasting an 20 use time with Very fast swings, Light's Bane attacks substantially faster than its crimson counterpart, the Blood Butcherer. The rapid swing speed combined with supplementary shadow slashes excels at shredding flying eaters of souls and segments of Eater of Worlds. Pairing the sword with a Feral Claw grants autoswing, transforming it into a relentless flurry of dark strikes. When upgrading melee gear, players combine it at an altar to produce Night's Edge. Legendary stands as the best prefix for reach, speed, and critical chance.
