Mechanic's Rod

Mechanic shop requirements and lunar phases

Bought from the Mechanic for 20 gold after freeing her from the Dungeon, this rod appears in her shop only when the Angler lives in town and during odd moon phases (waxing and waning crescents). It packs 35% fishing power, providing a reliable mid-tier pole without relying on random crate drops.

Reliable mid-tier power and alternative rods

Ranks directly above the Fiberglass Fishing Pole (30% power) and beneath the Sitting Duck's Fishing Pole (40% power). While Sitting Duck's offers higher power, it depends on Traveling Merchant RNG, making this rod a dependable alternative for completing Angler quests.
