Orbital star bombardment across coordinates
Star Wrath drops from the Moon Lord as an endgame direct successor to the early-game Starfury. Each swing of the sword commands three cosmic stars to rain down from the sky toward the exact position of the player's cursor. Each descending star projectile inflicts double the weapon's base 170 melee damage, piercing through ambient air and striking the ground or hostile targets with high velocity. The main blade itself delivers 6.5 knockback at a Very fast 16 use time, slicing nearby enemies while the overhead artillery pummels distant threats.
Skyward coverage and Zenith forge role
In open-air boss arenas, Star Wrath often outperforms Meowmere against sprawling targets because all three falling stars can converge on a single hitbox simultaneously. However, because falling stars cannot penetrate solid ceiling blocks before reaching the player's crosshair, the sword loses utility in subterranean environments where Solar Eruption or Terrarian thrive. Alongside Meowmere, Star Wrath is an essential ingredient for forging Zenith at a hardmode anvil. Reforging to the Legendary prefix provides the best boosts to speed, reach, and critical strike chance.
Trivia
