Post-mechanical Jungle drops and string reach
Dropped by any enemy defeated within the Jungle biome (surface or subterranean) with a 0.5% drop rate once any mechanical boss has been slain. This agile yoyo spins at a Fast speed (use time 25), hitting for 60 base melee damage with 3.1 knockback. It boasts generous string reach and maintains continuous airborne spin for 14 seconds before automatically returning to the player.
Yoyo Bag synergy and mid-Hardmode melee options
As a solid progression step above early Hardmode yoyos like the Amarok and Code 2, the Yelets excels in enclosed spaces. Equipping a Yoyo Bag duplicates the yoyo head and releases orbiting counterweights, drastically multiplying total hit frequency against swarming Jungle horrors. It serves as the leading yoyo option prior to tackling the post-Plantera Dungeon for the Kraken or fighting Solar Eclipses for The Eye of Cthulhu. Godly provides the best modifier.
Trivia
- Can drop from any enemy killed in the Jungle as long as at least one mechanical boss has been defeated in the world.
- Named after the Russian city of Yelets, mirroring the real-world One Drop yoyo manufacturing lineup.
