Antlion Larvae are fragile insect grubs that inhabit the subterranean tunnels of the Underground Desert. They hatch when explorers trample or shatter Antlion Eggs scattered along sandstone floors and walls. Possessing 30 health and 2 defense, they compensate for their small stature with sudden numbers, scurrying out from shattered egg casings.
Clearing egg clusters and gathering antlion mandibles
While individually dealing 10 damage in Classic and 20 in Expert, a clutch of hatching larvae can quickly surround a miner navigating tight shafts. Eliminating these scuttling grubs yields Antlion Mandibles at a 16.7% rate, providing an accessible source of potion and gear materials without having to fight adult antlions.
