Heavy stone bruisers of the granite caves
The Granite Golem is a sturdy stone automaton that paces across the blue stone floors of Granite Caves. Carrying 110 life and 18 defense, it walks steadily toward intruders, delivering 30 contact damage in Classic, 60 in Expert, and 90 in Master. Its dense rock construction gives it high knockback resistance, allowing it to march through light attacks.
Defensive curl mechanics and cavern spoils
When taking sustained damage from afar, the Granite Golem frequently curls into a defensive boulder, drastically increasing its armor and halting its movement until attacking ceases. Players should pause fire or switch to armor-piercing magic when it curls up. Defeating it yields Granite Blocks at 100% (yielding 5–10 blocks), Geodes (5%), and the Night Vision Helmet (3.33%).
Trivia
- While curled up in its defensive posture, its armor rises significantly and deflects light attacks.
- It walks with heavy rhythmic footfalls that echo through subterranean granite chambers.
