Brain Suckler blindness and telekinetic floaters
The Nebula Pillar embodies the arcane mastery of the sorcerer, bathing the battlefield in an ethereal purple and magenta cosmos. Hovering high in the atmosphere, the spire is shielded by an impermeable celestial sphere that repels all damage until its supernatural protectors are banished. Among the most disorienting foes is the Brain Suckler, a flying parasite that swoops directly toward your head. If a Brain Suckler successfully clamps onto your character, it inflicts the Obstructed debuff, plunging your display into near-total darkness while chewing through your life bar.
Simultaneously, the skies are guarded by the agile Nebula Floater. These floating psychic sentries fire high-velocity laser beams and instinctively teleport across the arena every single time they register a hit from a player attack. Because each strike causes them to vanish and reappear elsewhere, conventional straight-line weapons can struggle to finish them. Utilizing wide sweeping swords, homing projectiles, or autonomous sentries helps dispatch them while keeping Brain Sucklers at bay.
Bouncing plasma spheres and stellar predictors
The ground and mid-air crossfire of the Nebula zone is equally relentless. The Predictor hovers above the terrain dressed in ceremonial robes, conjuring tight clusters of four crystalline piercing darts that launch forward with extreme speed and tight accuracy.
Pounding along the ground is the Evolution Beast, an aggressive four-legged extraterrestrial hound. Rather than relying solely on melee bites, the beast spews dense plasma spheres that ricochet repeatedly across the landscape. In enclosed valleys, uneven terrain, or subterranean pockets, these bouncing plasma balls bounce unpredictably, turning hollows into lethal hazard traps. Clearing the ground or staying elevated on platforms prevents these ricocheting spheres from boxing you in.
Collapsing the cosmic violet dome
Dissolving the protective celestial aegis surrounding the pillar requires defeating 100 psychic entities in Classic difficulty, or 150 kills in Expert and Master difficulty. Slain creatures release luminous violet soul motes that stream upward into the core of the barrier, shattering the shimmering shield once the necessary count is fulfilled.
With its shield extinguished, the stationary spire becomes susceptible to damage. The pillar possesses 20,000 health across all difficulties and an armor rating of 20. Though the spire deals 0 contact damage and cannot chase you, it occasionally discharges bursts of energy flares from the upper atmosphere. Pouring concentrated single-target DPS onto the pillar will shatter it before you are overrun by additional teleporters.
Crafting the Nebula Arcanum and Nebula Blaze
Shattering the Nebula Pillar yields 12–60 Nebula Fragments at 100%. Taking these mystic remnants to the Ancient Manipulator grants spellcasters the power to craft two endgame magic weapons.
The Nebula Arcanum launches a swirling orb of cosmic energy that homes slowly toward targets, piercing repeatedly before detonating in a burst of area damage. In contrast, the Nebula Blaze serves as a high-velocity magical gauntlet that rapidly fires homing energy fists, with occasional blue empowered projectiles dealing triple damage. When the Moon Lord is vanquished, remaining fragments can be forged into Nebula Armor, famous for dropping healing, mana, and damage booster flames during battle.
Trivia
- Brain Sucklers inflict the Obstructed debuff, which reduces the player's vision radius down to a tiny circular spotlight.
- Nebula Floaters possess an innate reaction to teleport away immediately upon receiving damage from any source.
- The Nebula Blaze gauntlet has a rare chance to fire an empowered blue projectile that deals 3x base impact.
