Fatal doll bearers of the underworld
Voodoo Demons are winged denizens of the Underworld that carry a Guide Voodoo Doll clutched firmly between their talons. Soaring over lava oceans and obsidian towers, they cast spinning scythes of dark energy toward intruders. They possess 140 health and 8 defense in flight.
Controlling the doll drop and awakening the wall of flesh
Their Demon Scythe spells inflict 32 damage in Classic and 64 in Expert. Crucially, defeating a Voodoo Demon drops the Guide Voodoo Doll at a 100% rate. If this doll falls into molten lava while the Guide is alive, the Guide dies instantly and the Wall of Flesh awakens. They also drop the Demon Scythe spellbook at a 2.86% rate.
Trivia
- Killing a Voodoo Demon over open lava without catching the doll will immediately trigger the Wall of Flesh boss fight.
- Voodoo Demons always generate with a visible doll dangling from their claws.
