Shadow Orb excavation and maximum mana expansion
The Band of Starpower is discovered by smashing Shadow Orb conduits within the Corruption chasm network, or fished from Corrupt Crate and Defiled Crate catches. Equipping it increases maximum mana by 20 points, granting an additional mana star to the player's resource pool. In Crimson worlds, players can craft it at a Graveyard crafting station by combining a Panic Necklace with a Mana Crystal.
Tinkerer workshop upgrades for spellcasting builds
At a Tinkerer's Workshop, the Band of Starpower combines with a Band of Regeneration to form the Mana Regeneration Band, or with a Shackle to forge Magic Cuffs. These accessories provide essential mana sustain for magic users, eventually building into high-tier gear like the Celestial Cuffs and Mana Cloak. Early mages benefit from the expanded mana pool to cast spells continuously during difficult encounters.
