Mining Helmet

Merchant acquisition and hands-free cavern illumination

Purchased from the Merchant for 8 gold coins or found as a rare drop from Undead Miners, the Mining Helmet grants 2 defense and projects an unceasing aura of bright light around the wearer. This illumination stays active regardless of which weapon or tool you hold, freeing you from placing countless torches along dark tunnels.

Mining set acceleration and advanced optic crafting

Equipping this headgear with a Mining Shirt and Mining Pants activates a set bonus increasing overall mining speed by 30% (10% from each piece plus 10% from the set bonus). Furthermore, players can bring the helmet to a Tinkerers Workshop alongside a Night Vision Helmet to forge the Ultrabright Helmet, producing a wider light radius for spelunking.

Trivia
