Pumpkin Moon bounty and high-velocity sprinting
The Hexxed Branch drops from Mourning Wood with a 25% chance during the Pumpkin Moon event in Master Mode. Activating the branch summons a wooden Tree Mount capable of rapid acceleration. The mount charges across flat ground, reaching a top sprint velocity of 61 mph while damaging and knocking back enemies that collide with its charging trunk during high-speed runs across combat arenas.
Runway boss kiting and collision damage
Thanks to its rapid ground sprint and high jump height, the tree mount excels at kiting fast-moving bosses such as the Empress of Light or Duke Fishron across long asphalt or wooden platform runways. While it does not offer continuous flight, its responsive acceleration and ramming impact damage make it one of the fastest ground transports available in Hardmode, allowing swift escapes from projectile clusters and charging foes.
