Necro Greaves

Dungeon bone crafting and ranged scaling

Assembled at a Work Bench using 50 Bone pieces and 45 Cobweb strands, Necro Greaves provide 6 defense and increase ranged damage by 5%. Sourcing the bones requires players to defeat Skeletron and farm skeletal monsters throughout the Dungeon corridors, converting subterranean monster remnants into protective combat leggings for archers and marksmen. Defeating angry bones and dark casters provides the necessary materials to assemble these specialized greaves after exploring the upper dungeon chambers.

Set completion and Underworld ranger utility

Uniting these greaves with the Necro Breastplate and Necro Helmet completes the full set, unlocking a set bonus of 20% ammo conservation and raising total defense to 19. These leggings outclass standard ore greaves by providing offensive damage bonuses to arrows, bullets, and rockets. The ammo savings prove beneficial when confronting the Wall of Flesh with rapid-fire firearms.
