It only tracks horizontal velocity, ignoring purely vertical ascents.

Team sharing and Goblin Tech fabrication

As an informational device, the Stopwatch operates passively from the inventory or Void Bag without consuming an equipment slot, broadcasting its speed readouts to nearby teammates in multiplayer worlds. At a Tinkerer's Workshop, combining the Stopwatch with a Metal Detector and a DPS Meter crafts the Goblin Tech, taking a vital step toward assembling the PDA and Cell Phone.
