The Rally is an early pre-Hardmode yoyo dropped with a 10% chance by cavern crustacean enemies, specifically Giant Shelly, Crawdad, and Salamander. Delivering 14 base melee damage, it features an airborne tether duration of 5 seconds with a reach of roughly 11.5 tiles. Its focused spin allows players to attack around corners and through narrow openings safely without exposing themselves to monster contact.

Early melee progression and yoyo string accessory synergy

Dropping earlier than evil-biome yoyos like Malaise or Artery, the Rally offers a major offensive improvement over the starter Wooden Yoyo. It excels at picking off cave bats and undead miners while keeping safe distance behind block barriers. Its rapid hit rate also disrupts enemy movement, giving spelunkers time to retreat or heal during difficult cavern encounters. Pairing it with a White String from the Skeleton Merchant expands its operating range. Because yoyos cannot benefit from melee speed modifiers, the Godly prefix provides the premier stat bonuses to damage, critical chance, and knockback.
