The wearer runs up to 30 mph on solid terrain and gains approximately 1.6 seconds of sustained upward rocket flight. They upgrade into Lightning Boots when combined with an Aglet and Anklet of the Wind, or into Fairy Boots and Hellfire Treads.

Pre-Hardmode evasion and mobility path progression

Crafting Spectre Boots represents a major leap in combat agility before challenging Skeletron or the Wall of Flesh. The ability to sprint horizontally while tapping rocket thrust provides fine aerial control, allowing players to weave around boss projectiles smoothly. It serves as an essential link leading up to Terraspark Boots. Reforging to Warding adds +4 defense for general safety, Menacing boosts offensive output, and Quick elevates running speed further.
