Happiness: where it likes to live
| Biomes | Neighbours | |
|---|---|---|
| Likes | the Snow | Steampunker, Pirate, Stylist, Princess |
| Dislikes | the Jungle | Zoologist |
| Hates | Wizard |
Town NPCs charge less when they are happy: the game lowers their prices for loved and liked biomes and neighbours and raises them for disliked and hated ones.

Drops
Cyborg drops nothing in the game's drop rules.
Post-Plantera mechanical arrival
The Cyborg is an advanced Hardmode resident who arrives only after players defeat Plantera deep in the Underground Jungle. Once the subterranean floral menace is vanquished and an empty house is ready, this mechanical marvel moves in to supply specialized weaponry and heavy munitions to the settlement.
He is considerably tougher than ordinary organic citizens, boasting 500 life and 30 defense. When monsters attack his quarters during solar eclipses or goblin raids, he retaliates aggressively by firing explosive rockets and proximity mines from his integrated shoulder launcher, dealing heavy splash damage to invading hordes and keeping his workshop secure.
Advanced ordnance and high-tech utility catalog
His shop provides vital munitions for heavy artillery builds and explosive launcher setups. He stocks Rocket I ammunition continuously, and expands his arsenal with Rocket II during Solar Eclipses, as well as Rocket III and IV under night skies. He also sells the Proximity Mine Launcher, enabling players to lay lethal traps along boss battle arenas.
For engineers and creative architects, he provides Nanites for crafting Nanite Bullets and Flasks of Nanites, which inflict the Confused debuff on struck foes. He also sells high-tech utility items such as Echo Blocks, which become entirely invisible unless viewed through Spectres goggles or an activated Echo Chamber device.
Snow biome workshop and rocketry discounts
Managing the Cyborg's accommodation is crucial because rapid-fire missile launchers can burn through thousands of rockets during end-game events. Refer to the preference table above for his precise biome and neighbor ratings.
Building him a high-tech workshop in the Snow biome alongside the Steampunker ensures substantial price cuts on rocket munitions and Echo Blocks while activating the Snow Pylon. This setup keeps your explosive inventory stocked affordably ahead of the Martian Madness and Lunar Events.
Trivia
- His dialogue includes playful references to classic sci-fi cinema, including Blade Runner and Star Wars.
- Unlike fragile human villagers, his robotic construction grants him a sturdy 500 health pool and 30 armor.
