Happiness: where it likes to live
| Biomes | Neighbours | |
|---|---|---|
| Loves | Cyborg | |
| Likes | the Desert | Painter, Princess |
| Dislikes | the Jungle | Dryad, Wizard, Party Girl |
Town NPCs charge less when they are happy: the game lowers their prices for loved and liked biomes and neighbours and raises them for disliked and hated ones.

Drops
| Item | Chance | Amount | Modes | Condition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100% (always) | 1 | All modes | Drops from uniquely named NPCs |
Chances are for one kill, before Luck, Rate of fire or banners change anything. The Modes column says in which difficulties the game lists the drop.
Mechanical triumph and industrial arrival
The Steampunker settles in town once the player destroys at least one Mechanical Boss in Hardmode: The Twins, The Destroyer, or Skeletron Prime. Having a vacant house ready allows her to arrive promptly at sunrise following the mechanical victory.
When town perimeter defenses fail, she repels monsters using a Clockwork Assault Rifle loaded with High Velocity Bullets. If slain while carrying the name Ivy, she drops the Ivy painting with a 100% drop rate . She defends her workshop with 250 health and 15 defense, dealing 10 contact damage to approaching threats.
Biomatter purification with the Clentaminator
Her signature offering is the Clentaminator, an indispensable terraforming tool costing two platinum coins that sprays environmental solutions across vast stretches of terrain. She supplies Green Solution for purifying corrupt lands into Forest biomes, Blue Solution for Hallow conversions, and Purple or Red Solutions during blood moons and solar eclipses for evil biome proliferation.
Throwing the Clentaminator into Shimmer after defeating the Moon Lord upgrades it into the Terraformer, greatly extending spray range and reducing solution consumption. Builders also use the Blend-O-Matic sold in her shop to combine gel and stone into rapid Asphalt running tracks.
Arid steampunk workshops and clentaminator costs
Purchasing the Clentaminator and large supplies of terraforming Solutions represents an enormous investment of platinum coins. Inspect the preference table above for her complete environmental ratings and neighbor scores.
Constructing her laboratory in the Desert alongside the Cyborg grants significant price reductions on Green Solution, Steampunk Wings, and Jetpacks while powering the Desert Pylon, saving players dozens of gold coins during large cleansing operations.
Assembling cross-map wire networks
Players rely on her teleporters and cogs to build instant transit lines spanning the entire world. Wiring pairs of Teleporters with colored wire, switches, and pressure plates creates instant passage between surface bases, ocean outposts, and Underworld arenas, rendering long cross-world runs obsolete and trivializing boss arena transitions.
Trivia
- Post-Moon Lord, throwing her Clentaminator into Shimmer upgrades it into the powerful Terraformer.
- Her Clockwork Assault Rifle fires three-round bursts while consuming only one bullet.
